DBasia.news – Rivalry between Inter Milan and Juventus is indeed heating up. Regarding the transfer issue of Mauro Icardi, Giuseppe Marotta, Inter CEO, reportedly will include an anti-Juventus clause if Icardi leaves for AS Roma. The report was published by Sport Mediaset.
Inter Milan are still unmoved by the decision to sell Mauro Icardi. The Argentine national team player continues to train like other players, but has never been called to strengthen the team when competing.
Inter Milan has been unable to provide leeway for Mauro Icardi who made trouble last season. The 26-year-old bomber refused to play after the captain’s armband was taken away from him.
So far, AS Roma has become one of the most determined teams to bring in Mauro Icardi. Il Giallorossi is preparing a cash offer plus Edin Dzeko.
Reportedly, Rome will submit a proposal worth 30 million euros plus Edin Dzeko. Meanwhile, Inter Milan wants at least 60 million euros.
Although there is a considerable distance between supply and demand, however, AS Roma will not retreat. In fact, Roma only wanted to release Dzeko – Antonio Conte’s dream player, at a price of 25 million euros or another option is exchanged for Icardi.
Inter Milan CEO, Beppe Marotta, is reportedly suspicious of Juventus’ behind Roma’s relentless attitude in pursuing Icardi. Marotta assess, Rome will be Icardi’s way to Juventus.
Gianni Di Marzio, father of renowned Italian transfer expert, Gianluca Di Marzio, stated that Inter Milan would not sell Mauro Icardi to Juventus. The decision can change only if La Vecchia Signora is willing to give Paulo Dybala.
Marotta is worried, Icardi will only strengthen AS Roma for one season, and then head for Juventus. To avoid that, Marotta will embed an anti-Juve clause if Icardi heads to Rome.
Which means, AS Roma cannot sell Mauro Icardi to Juventus in the future. In addition to Roma, Icardi is also on Napoli’s radar.
