DBasia.news – John Terry still has the spirit to play until some years in the future. Apparently, the former captain of Chelsea and England national team has no intention to retire yet.
John Terry decided to continue his football career. He joined the Championship Division club, Aston Villa. But the 37-year-old player left the club after the recent playoff defeat from Fulham. Terry admitted that was hurt.
“I loved my time at Aston Villa. I am still devastated that we didn’t go up,” Terry said.
Unfortunately, the expectation to be promoted to the Premier League has gone because Steve Bruce squad had to admit Fulham with the 1-0 score. This made The Villans decided to let go of Terry.
“The manager, players, and supporters were incredible with me but I hate losing and I feel there is unfinished business there.”
“Steve Bruce is a great man and with the backing of the new owners, Steve will hopefully get the club back into the Premier League.”
