DBasia.news – Jose Mourinho has not coached clubs since being fired by Manchester United last December. He filled his spare time by becoming a football observer and commentator on television. But, Mourinho will allegedly retrain next season.
Mourinho had refused to train Benfica in the mid of 2018-19 season and chose to patiently wait for a new club at the start of 2019-20 season. The 56-year-old Portuguese coach is still looking for an ambitious club, a good project going forward, and in line with his vision.
Despite being familiar with dismissals over the past few years, Mourinho remains one of Europe’s top and famous coaches. Apart from his approach and thoughts about playing style, Mourinho always gave trophies to the clubs he had trained.
Throughout his career, Mourinho once coached Porto, Chelsea (two periods), Inter Milan, Real Madrid and Manchester United. In those five clubs Mourinho always left the club’s cabinet room with the trophy.
One of the most memorable years of him occurred in 2010. At that time, Mourinho gave a historic treble winners to Inter through the Serie A trophy, Coppa Italia and Champions League.
Mourinho has coached in Portugal, England, Italy and Spain. Now, he is linked to training one of the richest clubs in France, Paris Saint-Germain (PSG). As if to heat up the rumor, Mourinho did not rule out the possibility of training in Ligue 1, France.
“I can imagine myself as a coach in Ligue 1. I am a man who has worked in four different countries, I want to know and learn about other cultures. Working in a new league will be a fantastic experience,” Mourinho told BeIN Sports.
“For the time being I will remain calm, I try to live better with my family, friends, and I work to get the right opportunity to return to coaching.”
“Two or three months (without work) is okay, after that it’s much more difficult. I hope to have the opportunity to return in stronger conditions. My project is a project as a person and a coach, improve myself better, think of my work as well. my passion, “concluded Mourinho.
It’s hard enough to see Mourinho train PSG next season, because Thomas Tuchel has just been appointed to train this season and was signed for two seasons.
If PSG’s performance is stable and develops under the care of the German coach, it will be quite challenging for Mourinho to train PSG. But, he has a big chance to train PSG rival teams like Olympique Lyonnais, Olympique Marseille, Lille, and Girondins Bordeaux.
