DBasia.news – Juventus’s new coach, Maurizio Sarri, will not accompany his team when against Parma and Napoli in the the two Serie A 2019-20 inaugural match. The Bianconeri’s official website confirms Sarri is in the process of healing from pneumonia.
As is known, Sarri had recently suffered from pneumonia (pneumonia) and is in the process of recovery. The illness was allegedly caused by his smoking habit – Sarri is a heavy smoker.
His condition gradually improved. However, for the sake of full health, the former Napoli and Chelsea coach was advised to rest optimally. As a result, Sarri will be absent when against Parma (8/24) and also Napoli (1/9).
“Maurizio Sarri has been undergoing further medical tests today and the results have improved (from the healing process) which is good,” wrote a statement on the official Juventus website.
“To fully recover from the pneumonia that has hurt him for the past few days, the coach will not sit on the bench for the first two Serie A matches against Parma and Napoli.”
“The decision was taken so that the coach, who today also visited Juventus’ training center to work with staff, can resume to his regular activities as soon as possible,” added the statement.
Without Sarri in the technical area against Parma and Napoli, Giovanni Martusciello, assistant coach of Juventus, will allegedly become a companion to Cristiano Ronaldo and mates in both matches.
