Klopp’s Comment About Alisson Becker

DBasia.news – Liverpool manager, Jurgen Klopp, gives comment related to Alisson transfer to AS Roma. Klopp assumes his worth won’t pressure Alisson.

Liverpool broke the record of the most expensive goalkeeper by choosing Alisson. The Reds paid 72,5 million euro (Rp1,2 trillion) to AS Roma.

The number made Alisson broke the previous record by Gianluigi Buffon. Juventus gave 53 million euro (Rp907 billion) to recruit Buffon from Parma in 2001.

The transfer amount is predicted to make Alisson under pressure. But, Klopp thinks the goalkeeper can ease the burden.

“You can go even further back and look at when Juventus broke the transfer record 10 times over to sign Gigi Buffon for some £32m at the time,” said Klopp.

“Look at how well that has turned out for them over the years. The right player, regardless of the price, I think pays dividends,” he continued.

Alisson presence threatens the position of Liverpool goalkeeper. Currently, Loris Karius and Simon Mignolet are about to leave Anfield.
