Kompany Wants to Stay with Man City After Retiring

DBasia.news – Manchester City captain Vincent Kompany admitted that he wants to work in the club once he retires. Kompany wants to spend the rest of his career with The Citizens.
Vincent Kompany is one of the initial squad members of Manchester City’s revival. The Belgium defender has been playing for The Citizens since a decade ago.
Currently, Vincent Kompany is still recovering from injury. Besides, Kompany’s contract will be over in Manchester City after the end of 2018-2019 season.
In recent seasons, Vincent Kompany often got injured. Consequently, he seldom contributed to Manchester City.
However, Vincent Kompany said he will stay in Manchester City. Moreover, the 32-year-old player wants to work for The Citizens after retiring.
“I’ll be connected with City for the rest of my life, as a fan, as an employee, as an ambassador,” Vincent Kompany told Sky Sports.
“Whatever City decide or I decide, it’s not something we can undo. So it’s cemented, we’re tied to each other for life,” Vincent Kompany continued.
Vincent Kompany has been playing for Manchester City since the 2008 summer transfer market. In that period, Kompany won three Premier League, England Cup, and FA Cup.
