DBasia.news – Krzysztof Piatek continued his brilliant performance with AC Milan. Since being transferred from Genoa last January for 35 million euros, Piatek appeared to exceed the tag and give an impact like Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi.
In the 24th week of Serie A which took place at Atalanta headquarters, Sunday (17/2) early morning WIB, Milan won a landslide score of 3-1 through two goals from Piatek and Hakan Calhanoglu. Two goals were created through the style of a penalty box predator.
The first goal while snatching a cross through a first time kick that led to the left of Atalanta’s goal, while Piatek’s second goal was created from the head header through a corner soccer situation. In position, killer instinct, until the opportunist striker’s character is on him – reminding fans of Andriy Shevchenko’s figure.
“He (Piatek) changed the match, a great goal. He is a solid player and has performed well for the Rossoneri. He must continue to look like that,” Shevchenko said, acknowledging the 23-year-old striker’s ability.
Even better, the Polish striker made a record with Milan. Piatek became the fastest player to score six goals for Milan with a record: 310 minutes and 18 trials. In total, 17 goals have been created in Serie A with Genoa and Milan – one goal under 18 goals from Cristiano Ronaldo.
“I always believe in myself and believe that I will score a lot of goals. But, I admit six goals from five matches are more than I expected,” Piatek said after the match to Milan TV.
Under Piatek, the fastest six goalscorer in Milan are: Gunnar Nordahl (419 minutes), Mario Balotelli (433 minutes), Rodolfo Ostromann (450 minutes), and Oliver Bierhoff (453 minutes).
Piatek became a fertile attacker in the category of players who had just moved in the winter transfer market. In comparison, Piatek scored six goals in five games with Milan, Gonzalo Higuain had two goals in four games with Chelsea, and Alvaro Morata had not scored from three matches with Atletico Madrid.
“Piatek and (Lucas) Paqueta should be happy with what they are doing now, but if they do well, thanks to their team mates too and I think they are aware of that. The whole team works well and we have to make sure we don’t let that mentality go. said Gennaro Gattuso, Milan coach on Football-Italy.
