Language Barier Makes Addapting a Challenge For Cengiz Under

DBasia.news –  The Turkish player, Cengiz Under, had an impressive season with AS Roma. But apparently he had experienced difficulties in the process of adaptation.

Under was brought by AS Roma from Tukri club, Istanbul Basaksehir. Cultural and language differences made it challenging for the 21-year-old player.

“The first six months are quite difficult because of the language. I had to adjust. As soon as I started to score, I started playing better. I feel part of the team, “Cengiz said.

Not only about cultural differences, Under had difficulty at the beginning of the seasos as he was brought in as a substitute for Mohamed Salah. Thankfully, he has the best colleagues who are ready to help.

“It’s very important for me that I came to replace Salah because he did very well here.”

“There was a lot of pressure but luckily I started to score goals and became more involved in the game. Thank you for the help of all my teammates. I really felt I was part of the team,” Under said.
