DBasia.news –  Moise Kean and Blaise Matuidi, two Juventus players, were racially victimized against Cagliari in the continuing Serie A match. Even worse, Leonardo Bonucci did not fully blame the fans and he received much criticism from his words.

Bianconeri won 2-0 through goals scored by Bonucci and Kean at the Sardegna Arena, Wednesday (3/4) WIB. Cagliari fans began to make racial taunts when Kean celebrated the goal and worse … Bonucci did not blame the fans.

“Kean knew when he scored, he had to focus on celebrating his team-mate. He knew he could do it differently too. There was racial ridicule after the goal, Blaise heard it and was angry,” Bonucci said.

“I think the error is 50-50, because Moise shouldn’t do that and Curva (the ultras fans’ tribe) shouldn’t react like that. We are professionals, we have to set an example and not provoke anyone.”

Suddenly comments from Bonucci were responded to with criticism and resentment from European footballers, who also fought in the campaign to eliminate racism in Europe. One of the most vocal comments expressed by Ivory Coast midfielder Yaya Toure.

“For me (the Bonucci greeting) is the worst scenario you can have in football, your teammate attacks you and says that. I think it’s hard to believe. You can imagine how hurt I was when I saw things like that happen,” Toure told BBC Sport.

“I don’t want to be involved with what he says, because for me it is very disrespectful to his teammates. You can’t say it by tweeting (writing it on Twitter).”

“I don’t want to say bad or rude things to him, but if he is my teammate, he will understand my feelings. I think, first, he must apologize to him (Kean) and then to the team.”

“Bonucci must be smarter (when speaking). We want to see things like that don’t exist and if he’s a real good Italian footballer, who is white, talks about 50-50, if he’s my teammate … he will definitely understand me. I don’t respond further, “he explained.

Bonucci, in fact, responded to all the criticism that was pinned to him by answers indicating that he did not need to apologize to Kean.

Bonucci fought racism and also clung to what he said to Kean. “Apart from everything that happened, in any case … not to racism,” said Bonucci on Instagram.

Yaya Toure did not personally criticize Bonucci’s attitude. Three other European footballers: Mario Balotelli, Memphis Depay, and Raheem Sterling, also did not think about his words. In fact, the famous British rapper, Stormzy, was also upset with Bonucci.

The following are the reactions of Stormzy, Balotelli, Sterling, and Depay, in addressing Bonucci’s remarks to Kean about racism at Cagliari headquarters:

Mario Balotelli (Olympique Marseille striker):

“Tell Bonucci, he’s lucky I’m not there (if not, Balotelli will teach him). Instead of defending you, he did it instead (blaming Kean)? Wow, to be honest I’m surprised.”

Memphis Depay (Olympique Lyonnais wing attacker):

“I am disappointed with your reaction. He (Kean) is important for the team and plays with pride in Italy. He deserves respect.”

Raheem Sterling (Manchester City wing striker):

“50-50 mistake? What you’re doing is ridiculous.”

Stormzy:

“This man (Bonucci) is a jerk”
