Leroy Sane will undergo surgery

DBasia.news – The 23-year-old Manchester City winger, Leroy Sane, will miss a lot of games at the start of the 2019/20 season. Sane is seriously injured in the knee of his right leg.
Confirmed by Man City’s official website, Sane had a severe knee injury to the right side of the ligament and had to undergo surgery. It is unknown how long the recovery time is, however, Sane will not be playing soon.
“Manchester City can confirm Leroy Sane has a serious injury to his right knee ligament. He has undergone a series of tests, with specialist doctors coming directly to Manchester to undergo further tests to understand his recovery time,” said the statement on the official Man City website.
“Leroy will be operated on next week. Manchester City will give Leroy all the support and direction he needs. All those associated with the club pray for his speedy recovery and total recovery.”
Sane was injured when playing against Liverpool in the Community Shield event last weekend. The injury also immediately ended the transfer speculation of the former Schalke player to Bayern Munich.
