Lionel Messi and Other Barcelona Players is seen to be on vacation during the Corona Virus Pandemic break

DBasia.news – Lionel Messi and several Barcelona players were seen on vacation, even though the Catalan city has been on lock down due to the increasing cases of COVID-19 in the region.

The Catalan government is currently recommending local residents to not leave the city, due to the soaring COVID-19 pandemic. However, as reported by Marca, a number of Barca workers seem to have dismissed these suggestions.

Mentioned by media based in the city of Madrid, Tuesday (07/21/2020) local time, a number of Blaugrana players were seen leaving the city of Barcelona despite recommendations from the Catalan government not to do so.

“But it should be noted that this is merely a recommendation because without the introduction of an emergency situation, they (the Catalan government) cannot prohibit the movement of its inhabitants,” Marca wrote.

Marca also mentioned, Lionel Messi’s family and Luis Suarez are seen leaving for vacation together. There are also Gerard Pique and Marc-Andre ter Stegen who have also gone on vacation with their families.
