Lionel Messi et al Goes Away, Slavia Prague Goalkeeper Disappointed

By db-admin

DBasia.news –  Slavic goalkeeper Prague Ondrej Kolar said he was disappointed with the ignorant attitude shown by some Barcelona fans, including Lionel Messi, after competing on Matchday 4 in Group F of the Champions League at Camp Nou.

Ondrej Kolar, the Slavic goalkeeper, confirmed it. The match at Camp Nou ended goalless draw in the fourth match of the Champions League group F on Wednesday (11/06) early morning Western Indonesian Time. Kolar appeared heroic in the game to secure several opportunities, including golden opportunities from Messi.

There is rarely a team that can get out of Camp Nou with one point (draw) or victory, let alone frustrated the host. However, Slavia was able to do well in containing Messi, Antoine Griezmann and Ousmane Dembele.

Slavia shows a play organization that is neat, disciplined, and can maintain focus for more than 90 minutes. In short, Slavs certainly deserve a point from their struggle, especially Barca relying too much on Messi in the match.

For teams like Slavia, the chance to meet Barcelona in the Champions League does not occur every week (rare). Naturally, if they hope there is a tradition of exchanging jersey or handshake with the stars of Barcelona.

But the opposite happened. According to Kolar, only Marc-Andre ter Stegen, Barcelona goalkeeper, who shook the hands of Slavic players and even gave praise to him.

“He (Ter Stegen) awaits me after the match and I consider it the best award. Listening to such praise from a great goalkeeper like him, the hairs on my neck are chilling. It was a very great experience,” Kolar told Goal.

Unfortunately, other Barcelona players are not like Ter Stegen and go straight into the dressing room because of the frustration of the goalless draw. Kolar also regretted the poor attitude of the Barcelona players.

“But several other players, Messi and others just left – some of them didn’t even shake hands with us,” added Kolar.

“It was sad. We all look forward to meeting against big players, we want to exchange jerseys after the game, but they are not very well behaved,” he concluded.
