Forbes Magazine released the latest list of the highest paid athletes in the world. Messi has beaten Ronaldo and finished first. The Barcelona Megastar received 99.8 million pounds over the past 12 months or equal to Rp. 1 trillion.
Ronaldo, 34, is in second place with revenues of 85.6 million pounds (Rp. 1 trillion – less than Messi). While third place was occupied by PSG star (Paris Saint-Germain), Neymar, with revenues of 82.5 million pounds.
Not all athletes in the top 10 highest income in the world work as professional footballers.
