DBasia.news – Every day Liverpool are getting closer to achieve the Premier League and Champions League titles. Recently, the Reds won 2-0 over Chelsea in the 34th week of the Premier League at Anfield on Sunday night (14/4).
Jurgen Klopp’s side will continue their match by visiting Estadio do Dragao to face Porto in the second leg of the 2018/19 Champions League quarter-finals on Thursday (18/4) early morning, bringing a 2-0 advantage they get in the first leg at Anfield.
Although satisfied with the victory they won over Chelsea, Jordan Henderson as the captain of the Liverpool confirmed his team must immediately forget about the victory and focus on facing the rest of the match they will lead.
“Overall it was a very satisfying match, with two incredible goals and we did not concede. We are very happy with the results. But we cannot continue to think about it because we will soon undergo the next fight, and we must maintain our concentration so we can get positive results,” Jordan Henderson said in an interview quoted from the official Liverpool website.
Henderson also highlighted the qualities that Porto possesses and the atmosphere they can feel when undergoing away matches, but insists that they only need to show their best performance in order to qualify for the semifinals.
