DBasia.news – Arsenal midfielder, Dani Ceballos, will be the center of attention of Liverpool’s defense when the two teams clash at Anfield on Saturday (8/24) night Western Indonesian Time in Week three of the Premier League.
The 23-year-old Spanish midfielder was the star of Arsenal’s victory when they won 2-1 over Burnley last weekend. Ceballos gave two assists for goals created by Alexandre Lacazette and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
The statistics against Burnley are pretty impressive for a first-time player in the Premier League: two assists, twice tackles, 90% pass accuracy, 100% passing opponents, 97 ball touches, 70 passes, five crosses, and seven ball-winning.
Ceballos became one of the Arsenal players who should have been wary of Liverpool’s defense. Jamie Redknapp, a former Liverpool player who is now an observer of English football, believes Ceballos will attract the special attention of Jurgen Klopp.
“Great performance displayed Dani Ceballos on his full debut in the Premier League. Arsenal must be tempted to ask Real Madrid how much it costs to permanently contract (Ceballos is currently on loan at Madrid),” Redknapp said to Dailymail.
“Jurgen Klopp will witness Arsenal’s victory again over Burnley and note that they must stop Ceballos at Anfield this week. This will be a great test for the 23-year-old abilities.”
Ceballos is one of the newer players recruited by Arsenal this summer besides: William Saliba, Gabriel Martinelli, Kieran Tierney, Nicolas Pepe, and David Luiz.
