Marcello Lippi Talks about Massimiliano Allegri’s Substitute at Juventus

DBasia.news –  Marcello Lippi, former Juventus coach, also gave an opinion regarding Massimiliano Allegri’s substitute as Bianconeri coach per 2019/20 season.

According to Lippi, Juventus will only announce who the new coach will be after the European club tournament ends. Two Juventus coach candidates are in the tournament, namely Mauricio Pochettino (Tottenham Hotspur) and Maurizio Sarri (Chelsea).

Tottenham will still fight Liverpool in the Champions League final (2/6) and Chelsea against Arsenal in the Europa League final (30/5). After the two tournaments ended, Lippi predicted Juve would announce their new coach.

“Why have a well-managed club like Juventus not announce the name of Allegri’s successor? All right, that’s a difficult decision to take, but maybe they are waiting for a certain competition to end,” Lippi told Goal.

“We will see later if their new coach is involved in one of the finals of English clubs, then we can all understand the reason for the delay in the announcement.”

“This season the best English clubs in Europe, but things like this are in circulation. I think Sarri has a big chance of winning the Europa League, then there is Pochettino whose family comes from Piedmont (region in North-West Italy),” explained Lippi.
