DBasia.news –  Marco Verratti, PSG midfielder, has a firm opinion that the club sells or releases players who want to leave. Indirectly, Verratti has satirized Neymar who was rumored to leave Barcelona.

Neymar became one of the most talked about players in the 2019 summer transfer market. The Brazilian national team player was linked with Real Madrid before Barcelona.

The latest news stated that Neymar is eager to return to Barcelona. He has not been at home playing at PSG despite only two seasons together.

Neymar was absent from PSG’s preseason training to encourage his move to Barcelona. However, until now the two clubs have not agreed.

“When a player really wants to leave, the club has to take them off. However, all must be in the conditions specified by the club,” Verratti said as reported by RMC Sport.

“However, you do not have to defend players who want to leave. Of course, I will be disappointed when I see someone leave,” added the Italian player.

PSG is reported to have set a price of 300 million euros for whoever wants Neymar. This amount is very difficult for Barcelona. In fact, to reduce the amount of money, El Barca was willing to include Ivan Rakitic and Philippe Coutinho in the agreement.

“I never heard him say he wanted to leave. However, I did not know what he said to the club. Personally, I would rather see him stay here.”

Neymar shot as the world’s most expensive player after PSG disbursed 222 million euros in the 2017 summer transfer market. At that time, Neymar reportedly did not like being under the shadow of Lionel Messi.
