Marcos Alonso’s Opinion about Sarri and Conte Style

DBasia.news – Chelsea key player, Marcos Alonso talked about Maurizio Sarri’s playing style. Alonso admitted he doesn’t have to run like the previous season.

Maurizio Sarri became the new Chelsea manager after replacing his compatriot, Antonio Conte. Conte considered failed after Chelsea got the fifth position finishing the Premier League.

Moreover, Chelsea genuinely played well. Eden Hazard and friends won the FA Cup after beating the Manchester United in the final round.

Though both of them came from Italy, Sarri and Conte have a different style to coach and play. Alonso admitted until now Chelsea players are still thinking about the strategy by Sarri.

“We are working on a new formation, a new style that he is asking of us. He wants us to press high, he wants the team to be together, to have possession of the ball,” Alonso told Sky Sports News.

“For a week we have been training very hard and trying to learn new things. We are having fun. The atmosphere in the changing room is very good. The mood is fantastic and we are working very well,” Alonso mentioned.

Maurizio Sarri moves fast to recruit the new player. The manager wants to bring his former player in Napoli, Jorginho. Besides, The Blues is rumored to get Juventus striker, Gonzalo Higuain.
