DBasia.news – The FA, as the English Football Federation, moved quickly to punish Mauricio Pochettino, manager of Tottenham Hotspur, due to his protest to referee Mike Dean in the match against Burnley in the Premier League.
As is known, the Argentine coach will not accompany his foster children in two Premier League matches against Southampton and Liverpool and get a fine of 10 thousand pounds by the FA.
After knowing that he would get such a punishment, Pochettino immediately sent a protest to the public. The former Espanyol coach still did not receive the punishment given by the FA because he still did not know the reason behind the English Football federation to punish him and at the same time gave him a fine.
“I was a little shocked. Because I think it was unfair. However, what can I do? There is nothing, I just have to accept it,” Pochettino was quoted as saying in the Goal.
“I just need to know the reason (FA) that has given me the punishment. Until now, I have not known the reason for not getting a letter from him,” he concluded.
Although it has been ascertained that it cannot accompany Harry Kane and his friends for two matches, it is not a reason for the Spurs to not win.
Because at the moment, the position of Pochettino’s squad in the top four is threatened to be displaced if it continues to fail to achieve perfect points. For now, Arsenal which is ranked fifth continues to trail its rival with a five-point deficit.
