DBasia.news – The new Juventus coach, Maurizio Sarri, could not accompany his team to compete against Parma in Serie A. Sarri is still in the process of recovering after pneumonia.
Sarri’s lung infection was certainly caused by various factors, including his smoking habits. News have circulated that the 60-year-old manager smokes dozens of cigarettes in one week.
Not wanting Sarri’s illness to get worse, the club has immediately asked the manager to undergo intensive care. They also asked the Italian man to stop smoking so that the treatment can run optimally.
However a few days ago, one of Italy’s leading media, Corriere della Sera showed a photo of Sarri holding a pack of cigarettes while taking pictures with some Bianconeri fans – this then led to the conclusion that the manager has ignored the club’s request for a smoking ban.
Reported by the Daily Mail, Juventus officials are reportedly very annoyed by the stubbornness shown by Maurizio Sarri, they are said to prefer if the former Napoli manager focused on the healing process, especially restoring his physical condition.
Sarri’s smoking habit had become the center of attention when he was still in charge of Napoli, he infrequently smoked on the sidelines while accompanying his team in the match. Not being able to smoke while guiding Chelsea, he has then chose to chew on it.
Maurizio Sarri has the potential to return to accompany Cristiano Ronaldo and his mates when entertaining his former club, Napoli in the second week of Serie A, Sunday (1/9) WIB.
