DBasia.news – Shocking news came from the 60-year-old coach, Maurizio Sarri. Juventus, through their official website, announced that the former gatherer of Napoli and Chelsea tactics was sick with pneumonia.
Sarri has been sick since last weekend and he has received medical treatment last week, including before the traditional preseason trial at Villar Perosa against the youth team. Sarri at that time was unable to head to Triestina and the flu.
“Maurizio Sarri, after resting and being monitored at the end of last week, was at JTC Continassa today, where he will coordinate work with his staff,” wrote an official statement from Juventus.
“Unfortunately, he was unable to accompany a training session on the field because of a flu that has not healed, which he has felt for the past week.”
“In the afternoon, he underwent further tests and was confirmed to have pneumonia, special therapy was notified to him. The coach must continue to provide news to the club to communicate about his health.”
It is not yet known whether Sarri will accompany Juventus when they visit Parma’s headquarters in the opening match of Serie A 2019/20, Saturday (4/28) at 23:00 WIB.
