DBasia.news – Two successive defeats were felt by AC Milan in Serie A. Losing 2-3 from Inter Milan, the Rossoneri again lost 0-1 to Sampdoria in Week 29 of Serie A on Sunday (31/3) early morning Western Indonesian Time. Milan are now only in the order of four standings.
Milan got the defeat after an error from Gianluigi Donnarumma made Gregoire Defrel score a goal for the home side when the game entered the first minute, a moment which finally determined Il Samp’s victory.
The Rossoneri coach, Gennaro Gattuso, considers that his team got the loss due to the lack of luck they gained throughout the game and overall did not show the level of performance they wanted.
“We were unlucky to concede a goal like that, then we made too many very basic mistakes, made too many touches while holding the ball, couldn’t show the game scheme we wanted. But overall our performance is quite good, “Gennaro Gattuso said in an interview quoted from Football Italia.
Gattuso considers Milan players unable to adjust to the pressure given by their opponents but insists that two successive defeats will not make them lose their enthusiasm in the remainder of the Serie A matches they will play.
