Months Prone to Dismissals in the Premier League
By db-admin
DBasia.news – November to January are often known as the prone months of dismissal in the Premier League.
This season, five managers have been fired in November and December. The most recent is Manuel Pellegrini who was dimissed by West Ham United.
If you observe the data, the periods surrounding the Christmas and New Year holidays are vulnerable times for managers in the Premier League. At most in the last six seasons there have been 45 dismissals at half-season in the Premier League. More than half of the layoffs took place between December and the end of February.
December was the hottest period in which there were 13 dismissals, not including the ones that happened the season.
So until February, if you see the trend above, there will still be other managers who will lose their jobs. Who would they be?
