DBasia.news – The former Manchester United manager, Jose Mourinho, insisted he was not interested in training the Portuguese national team.
Jose Mourinho had been linked with several clubs like Real Madrid and Inter Milan. However, Mourinho only wants to train at the start of next season.
In addition to the two clubs, Jose Mourinho became a candidate for the Portugal national team coach replacing Fernando Santos.
“Fernando Santos does not need to worry. I am not interested in training the national team in the near future. We are good friends,” said Mourinho.
Even so, Mourinho does not close the opportunity to train the national team in the future. “That is something I want to do before retiring. However, there is still a long way to go in my career,” Mourinho said.
“To be honest, I want to go back to training next season. I decided not to train until the beginning of next season. I will only return to training in the competition which makes me motivated,” he said.
