Mousa Dembele Joins Chinese Club

DBasia.news – Another Europe star is joining the competition in Chinese. He is Mousa Dembele. The Tottenham Hotspur midfielder has officially joined Guangzhou R&F for £11M.

“We have reached agreement with Chinese Super League side Guangzhou R&F for the transfer of Mousa Dembele, subject to international clearance. We wish Mousa all the best for the future,” said Tottenham official statement.

Dembele, 31, is one of The Lilywhites senior players. He has been playing for the club since 2012 after arriving from Fulham. In total, Dembele played 250 times and scored 10 goals.

The alumni of Germinal Beerschot Academy also has 82 caps with Belgium national team who became the third winner of 2018 World Cup in Russia.

“I’ve always had a good experience here. I go away with an unbelievable feeling and with a certain love for the club. The club is part of my family now,” Dembele told SpursTV.

Not only a loss for Spurs, but Dembele’s departure would also be missed by Premier League fans. Premier League statistic showed that Dembele is a great dribbling midfielder.

Since 2012, Dembele has been the midfielder with a good ball control hence it’s difficult to steal the ball from him. He is the most efficient dribbler with 506 times pass, 394 times and 77,9 percent success.
