MU Legend Advised to Keep Mourinho

By news-admin

DBasia.news – August hasn’t ended yet, the Premier League just entered the third week, but the situation in Manchester United became complicated due to two consecutive defeats from Brighton & Hove Albion (2-3) and Tottenham Hotspur (0-3). The two consecutive defeats with a tragic score at the beginning of Premier League happened for the first time since 1992.

Consequently, Jose Mourinho’s firing issue gets more intense though he still tied with the contract until 2020. The firing rumor could appear as the climax after the failure last season with no trophy when the club gave Mourinho players like Nemanja Matic, Romelu Lukaku, Victor Lindelof, and Alexis Sanchez.

Moreover, the intense situation at the dressing room, following the poor relation of the players under Mourinho, and also his bad communication with the board of directors because they didn’t give Mourinho the qualified players in this summer transfer market. Many people assumed the third season syndrome of Mourinho will be repeated: fired due to poor performance.

However the club legend Gary Neville has a different opinion. He thought Mourinho deserves the chance to change United and let them finish the contract until 2020.

“He saw the end of his contract at Inter Milan, he saw the end of his contract at Porto and he saw the end of his contract at Real Madrid. It’s only at Chelsea, which is a club of madness, where this has happened. At Inter Milan, Porto and Real Madrid he saw it to the end so let’s not rewrite history,” Neville told Sky Sports.

“To suggest that Manchester United are like Chelsea is not right. I have to say Manchester United still do things slightly differently. In the last few years, there has been an erosion of the beliefs. Jamie Carragher said last week the morals and traditions and bringing through British kids have gone out of the window when they sacked David Moyes and brought in Louis van Gaal.”

“I get that and I understand that, but it is still too early – three games into the season – to start suggesting there should be a change of manager. Nothing could be further from the truth. It has to be that Jose Mourinho is allowed to go through and complete this season,” Neville added.
