MU Legend Requested to Keep Mourinho

By news-admin

DBasia.news – The former Manchester United captain Gary Neville asked his club to keep Jose Mourinho. Neville assumed, The Red Devils shouldn’t leave the unfinished business.

Manchester United surprisingly defeated 2-3 by Brighton and Hove Albion in the second week of Premier League. In fact, The Red Devils never lost from Brighton since 1982.

The situation threatened Jose Mourinho’s position in Manchester United. The Portuguese manager also considers resigning.

Jose Mourinho felt frustrated by the transfer activity of Manchester United. The Red Devils just recruited Fred, Lee Grant, and Diogo Dalot.

Nonetheless, Jose Mourinho wanted to improve Manchester United’s defense. The manager aimed Toby Alderwiereld or Harry Maguire.

However, Neville hoped Manchester United will keep Jose Mourinho. The former right-back of England national team could understand Mourinho’s frustration.

“He is in his third season and I think he will feel extremely disappointed that he wasn’t supported in the transfer market. Manchester United have had a problem since Sir Alex Ferguson retired,” Neville said on Sky Sports.

“You can’t leave house three-quarters built. You have to finish it and complete the build. Then you can think about selling it or renting it because nobody is going to pick it up off you half-built,” the Manchester United legend gave an analogy.

“The club should support him in that because you can’t withdraw partway through a process. They have to go for it. It will get better and Manchester United will get stronger,” Neville continued.
