Newcastle United Will Get a Japan National Team Player

By news-admin

DBasia.news – Japan bomber Yoshinori Muto is waiting for the process to join the Premier League club, Newcastle United. Muto will join after Newcastle and Muto’s owner, Mainz reach the agreement.

British media reported Newcastle paid £9,5M to persuade Mainz to let go of the man who played 25 times with Japan national team.

Muto has reached an individual deal with Newcastle and currently is in Tyneside to finish the transfer process, including the medical check-up.

Muto was part of Japan squad during the 2018 World Cup in Russia. He played when Japa was defeated from Poland.

But Muto has to wait to join the Premier League. The FA hasn’t decided whether Muto, who just start his regular career in Japan national team, is allowed to join the Magpies.

“But the completion of the move has been delayed until at least next week, when a hearing will be held to determine whether the Japan international is granted a work permit,” said Newcastle statement.

Muto started his career with FC Tokyo by scoring 51 matches and 23 goals. And then, he joined the Bundesliga Mainz in 2015. With the Bundesliga club, Muto played in 66 matches and scored 20 goals.
