DBasia.news –  Rumors of leaving Neymar to Barcelona are increasingly heard this summer. Moreover, Neymar missed the training with Paris Saint-Germain (PSG).

Neymar did not report back to train with Thomas Tuchel’s squad. PSG was disappointed with the attitude of the Santos academy product and made a firm statement beforehand.

“This Monday (French time), July 8, Neymar da Silva Santos Junior was called to begin professional activity again with Paris Saint-Germain,” said a statement on the official PSG website.

“Paris Saint-Germain knows the player, Neymar Junior, did not appear at the time and place planned by the club. Paris Saint-Germain will study this situation and will take the necessary action as a consequence.”

Leonardo, as Sports Director of PSG, also did not rule out the possibility of Neymar leaving this summer as long as there was an offer at the right price.

“Neymar can leave PSG if there is a suitable offer for all. But, we do not know if there are clubs who want to buy him at that price. PSG wants to keep players who really want to stay and build a big thing,” Leonardo said.

However, the transfer has not been realized and Neymar is still part of the club that has been strengthened from 2017. Barca should at least approach or even exceed the transfer price of 222 million Neymar when he came to PSG two years ago – a world transfer record.

In addition, Neymar, due to his absence from training and considered PSG to behave badly, lost a bonus of 375,000 euros or approximately Rp.5 billion this July. According to reports from Marca, there is a good behavior clause applied by PSG to all players.

Such contracts, which are also applied at the academy and other parts, are commonplace in France because clubs cannot fine players from their salaries. However, they can hold their bonus if they violate the good behavior clause.

Of course, for Neymar’s classmates, a bonus deduction of IDR 5 billion doesn’t mean much. However, from the clause, it shows how PSG and other French clubs are firm, even if those who break the rules are star players.
