DBasia.news –  Ever since coming from Flamengo last Januari, Lucas Paqueta is always compared to AC Milan legend, Kaka. Apart from bringing Paqueta, Milan also brought in Krzysztof Piatek from Genoa.

Besides being both from Brazil, Paqueta is also the attacking midfielder. Milan bought Paqueta and Flamengo for 35 million euros with the hopes they can be Kaka’s successor who has reinforced the club on the midst 2003-2009 and 2013-14.

However the comparison from the media and public failed to amaze Andrea Pirlo. Other Milan Legends that played in San Siro in the 2001-2011 period rates the match to be excessive.

So much so, Pirlo ‘wept’ because Paqueta and Kaka are two different players. Kaka has proven himself with prestigious trophies like the Serie A and Champions League, while Paqueta has just started his journey with Milan.

“Honestly, he (Paqueta) does not convince me. He can be a great player, with good quality, but maybe he has yet to find his best appearance,” says Pirlo, reported from Calciamercato.

“He doesn’t make me crazy for him, especially when they (public and media) compare him to Kaka. A few comparison made me weep. Let’s say a different thing to Kaka,” added the man who packed 116 caps and 13 goals with the Italian football team.

At the age of 21, Paqueta’s future is still a long way ahead. If in the future this Rio De Janeiro born player is able to survive and gain prestigious trophies, the comparison to Kaka might be relevant.

“I am thrilled, there are plenty of possibilities for him in Europe, but we chose Milan because they are certain in the quality technique suitable for Italian football players,” says Eduardo Uram, Paqueta’s agent.

“Tactics in the Serie A will make him be more complete. He adapts quickly with Gattuso’s style.”

“From our first meeting with Leonardo and Maldini, we were even more convinced. They left me a great impression in their involvement on the Milan project,” he explained.

Paqueta’s typical play is a little different to Kaka. Paqueta is strong on the left feet, often shifting gears to fellow teammates, and tends to not dribble the ball while passing the opponent. As for Kaka is more direct with the bravery to dribble the ball pass the opponent.
