DBasia.news – The long 21-year career journey of the former Manchester United and Juventus player, Patrice Evra, has come to an end. Evra has decided to retire.
Patrice Evra began his professional career in 1998. Had alternated in teams, Evra found the peak of his career when defending Manchester United.
The French defender defended Manchester United during the period 2006 to 2014. Patrice Evra has won various prestigious trophies with the Red Devils.
Overall, 15 titles were won by Patrice Evra with Manchester United. These include the Premier League, the Champions League and the Club World Cup.
After Manchester United, Patrice Evra moved to Juventus. Together with La Vecchia Signora, the player who is now 38 years old also achieved success.
Patrice Evra won the Scudetto and Coppa Italia while in Juventus’ uniform. In addition, Evra also helped the Bianconeri qualify for the Champions League final twice.
After leaving Juventus, Patrice Evra had time to defend Marseille and West Ham. However, Evra did not find success with the two teams.
“My career as a football player has ended. Currently, I have been training in the UEFA Coach License since 2013. Now I am struggling to get a UEFA A license,” said Patrice Evra.
“If everything goes well, I will be ready to become a coach. Probably in the next one and a half years,” the ex-Juventus added.
