Paul Scholes 100% Agrees if Solskjaer Becomes Man United’s Permanent Manager

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer

DBasia.news –  Although only briefly leading Manchester United, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was considered right to be Man United’s permanent manager. One of the most wanted Solskjaer as permanent manager was his former teammate, Paul Scholes.

Please note, before the presence of Solskjaer, Man United always struggled to win and stumbled in the Premier League standings. The Red Devils had seen no chance to end the season in the top four. However, after two months handling Man United, Solskjaer was able to bring the Red Devils to fourth, overtaking Chelsea and Arsenal.

In the 12 matches Man United and Solskjaer went through, Paul Pogba and colleagues won 10 wins, one draw, and one defeat. Man United obtained the defeat in the Champions League stage from Paris Saint-Germain (PSG). However, Scholes considered Man United’s defeat was a natural thing.

“With what he did for the last 11 games – I know people will start questioning because now he has suffered one defeat, but it is against PSG. That can happen to the most experienced managers in the world because PSG is a top team,” explained Scholes, quoting from 101 Great Goals, Monday (2/18/2019).

“I think for what he has done so far, he definitely deserves a chance. Ole knows United, he knows what is needed, how fans want them to play, the way people want them to play, the way staff want to play. “In the end, Sir Alex Ferguson created all of that and Ole will try and keep it alive,” Scholes said.
