Penalties to Premier League Players for Refusing to Play When the Competition Continues

By db-admin

DBasia.news – The Premier League will continue rolling in early June. Sanctions are prepared for players who refused to compete when the competition continues.

Since mid-March 2020, the English League must be postponed due to the Corona virus pandemic. In the United Kingdom, including Britain, there have been 229,709 people infected with the Corona virus in data reported by WHO on Thursday (5/14/2020).

A total of 3,242 new cases of COVID-19 occurred in the United Kingdom yesterday. The Corona virus pandemic is still worrying in the UK.

Reflecting on that, Watford’s Troy Deeney is still reluctant to play again in the middle of the Corona pandemic. He questioned what sanctions would be imposed if the player refused to compete. Deeney prioritizes the health and safety of his family.

“I’m not even talking about football at this moment – I’m talking about the health of my family, and that’s that,” Deeney said in the Daily Mail.

“If I felt I didn’t want to take care of my family, I wouldn’t do that. I don’t want to put my family at risk.”

“What will they do, take my money? I have gone bankrupt before, so it will not bother me,” Deeney added.
