Petaling Jaya City
DBasia.news – The Malaysian club Petaling Jaya City has launched their latest logo recently. Interestingly, there are many opinions saying that the logo imitates Manchester City’s logo.
Petaling Jaya are redesigning the club identity. The most distinctive difference is the club logo.
Established in 2014, Petaling Jaya announced the new logo. It’s effective because Petaling Jaya are known internationally.
Unfortunately, Petaling Jaya aren’t known due to the achievements. Their newest logo is claimed to imitate Manchester City.
The red flower with an eagle is considered too similar to Manchester City’s. The color is also similar.
Besides that, the character design looks like Manchester City. The difference is just the logo.
If Manchester City’s logo is round, Petaling Jaya has a different concept. The Malaysian club used a shield shape just like Arsenal.
Manchester City could sue the Malaysian club. In the past, Juventus did that too.
