Pique Talks About Paul Pogba’s Transfer
By news-admin
DBasia.news – The summer transfer market in England has ended while the rumors are still involving England clubs, considering the Europe transfer market will be closed this August. The Queen Elizabeth’s clubs can still sell their players or loan to another club.
The recent transfer rumor is about Manchester United midfielder, Paul Pogba. His smile and friendly style disappeared when he returned to Carrington, Man United’s training center, though he just won the 2018 World Cup with France national team.
Playing well bringing United won 2-1 against Leicester City, Pogba showed the classic problem: inconsistency when his team defeated 2-3 from Brighton & Hove Albion and he said there was something wrong with Man United’s character.
His relationship with Jose Mourinho is also considered poor y the media and public, following their debate last season about Pogba’s best position. The exit rumor heard in his second period playing for The Red Devils. Pogba’s agent, Mino Raiola, tried to find him the new club.
Don Balon reported, Pogba and Barcelona have verbally agreed about the salary and others. It’s all up to Barca to ensure United to sell Pogba. The transfer won’t happen now because United won’t let Pogba go without getting the successor. Most likely the transfer will happen in January.
Though it’s still a rumor, Barcelona defender Gerard Pique also infuriated the issue by welcoming the 25-year-old player’s possible arrival to Camp Nou.
“I know very little about what’s happening there([with Pogba and United manager Jose Mourinho). What I know is Pogba is a great player and he plays for Manchester United right now. We will see in the future if he wants to change clubs. We will be happy to have him here, obviously. But we respect Manchester United because it’s his club,” Pique told AS.
Pique doesn’t really know Pogba, but he knew Man United because he once played in the club academy after recruited from La Masia in 2004. Pique played in United for four years (2004-2008) and loaned to Real Zaragoza and reached his best moments with Sir Alex Ferguson.
