DBasia.news – Tottenham Hotspur’s manager, Mauricio Pochettino, admitted he had received many offers to leave the Lilywhites.
Despite successfully building a solid and challenging squad, the absence of the trophy won by the club led to speculation that Pochettino will be asked to step down shortly.
Many clubs have begun offering lucrative jobs to the Argentina coach. However, Pochettino chose to reject him because of his commitment to The Lilywhites.
“Yes, I have many offers to go to. Many offers in five years and Director Daniel Levy knows some, but not all. The offer is from everywhere. Daniel knows very well how we are committed to the club. It’s extraordinary, more than normal,” Pochettino said.
“If you ask Pep Guardiola, if you ask Jurgen Klopp, if you ask the best manager … Guardiola must work at City and receive calls from different clubs. Or Klopp or a different manager.”
“That doesn’t make it special to me. You ask me and that is my honest answer. But I don’t want it, so don’t use it to say how good I am because I say ‘No’!” Pochettino added.
