Punished Kepa, Willy Caballero Should Be the Main Goalkeeper of Chelsea

Kepa Arrizabalaga
DBasia.news – The fine and decision of Maurizio Sarri not to play Kepa Arrizabalaga as a starter at Chelsea is an afterthought in the League Cup final. When against Manchester City, Kepa did not want to be replaced by Sarri.
Apart from that, Sarri also immediately put it aside when the Blues played in the 2018/19 Premier League competition to face Tottenham Hotspur. The coach who likes to smoke, trusts the second goalkeeper, Willy Caballero.
The results are not in vain. Caballero’s goal failed to be broken by Mauricio Pochettino’s side and Chelsea won three points because they won the match with a score of 2-0 on Thursday (28/2) early morning Western Indonesian Time.
Seeing Caballero be able to carry out his duties well, making Joe Cole, who was a former Chelsea player in mid-2003 to 2010, thinks that Sarri must keep defending Kepa, and continue to trust the Argentine goalkeeper.
“I think the manager (Sarri) is in a strong position (to determine the composition of his squad). As a result, he made the right decision (playing Caballero). Because Chelsea won three points,” Cole was quoted as saying by the Daily Express.
“He (Caballero) has played for Manchester City, and also played for big clubs. Therefore, he will not disappoint if played,” he concluded.
Even so, Sarri seems to have a different decision. The end of the match against Spurs, the former Napoli coach insisted that Kepa would remain the main goalkeeper for Chelsea. Not surprising, considering Kepa was bought at 80 million euros.
