The father of AS Roma’s talented youngster Nicolo Zaniolo confirmed his son would sign a new contract with Rome. Indirectly, it brushed aside the issue of leaving to Juventus.

Nicolo Zaniolo’s name climbed since impressing with AS Roma. Zaniolo is part of the transfer of Radja Nainggolan to Inter Milan.

Nicolo Zaniolo became the new public idol of Olimpico. AS Roma supporters regard him as a new prince candidate.

Nicolo Zaniolo’s neat performance made him targeted by some top clubs. Juventus is rumored to have prepared an offer for the 19-year-old player.

Even so, Nicolo Zaniolo’s father, Igor, revealed contract negotiations with AS Roma. This also reduced the chances of his son leaving.

“At the end of the season, we will meet US Roma officials. We will discuss a new contract. At present there are no problems between us,” said Igor Zaniolo’s father.

“Both parties have the desire to negotiate positively. The current talks (about the transfer to Juventus) are bad for AS Roma and Nicolo Zaniolo.”

“Nicolo Zaniolo and AS Roma are on the same ship. Both parties will benefit if Zaniolo develops well,” he continued.

Juventus is not the only club that wants services   Nicolo Zaniolo. Real Madrid and Chelsea are also eyeing the former Inter Milan player.
