DBasia.news – Olympique Lyon’s young striker, Amine Gouiri, is indicated to be the successor of Karim Benzema by Real Madrid.
Benzema is actually still a mainstay of the team on the front lines. The 32-year-old French striker enjoyed his career with Los Blancos, scoring 230 goals in 453 appearances in various competitions.
However, coach Zinedine Zidane seems to have started thinking about who is a substitute for Benzema, who is no longer young.
According to the news that developed in Spain, as reported by Sports Mole, the Real Madrid tried to approach Gouiri, whose contract with Lyon is still left two and a half years away.
Gouiri has not had a chance to appear as a starter in French Ligue 1, even though the 19-year-old has been promoted to the first team.
Gouiri only appeared once as a starter and ten times as a reserve player for Lyon in various competitions, with two of them happening this season.
