Real Madrid Prepares a Large Transfer Fund to Break Barcelona’s Domination

By db-admin

DBasia.news – The competition in LaLiga is getting tougher. Real Madrid has now top the standings with four points from Barcelona after their win over Athletic Bilbao.

Zinedine Zidane’s squad defeated Athletic Bilbao at San Mames with Real Madrid only able to ensure victory after Sergio Ramos scored the only goal of Los Blancos through a 73 minute penalty.

Barcelona performed impressively against Villarreal at the Estadio de la Ceramica on Monday when the Catalonia giants defeated the Yellow Submarines by a high score of 4-1.

Lionel Messi, Luis Suarez and Antoine Griezmann finally appeared on the front lines after failing to do so throughout the season. Messi provided an assist and Griezmann scored a world-class goal after failing to score in his nine previous league games.

Although Barca seem to have found their best performance in the league, it seems too late because Real Madrid only had four easy matches before winning their 34th Spanish league championship title.

A report from Diaro GOL claims that Los Blancos plans to spend 200 million euros (3.25 trillion rupiah) to sink Barca next season.

Real Madrid president, Florentino Perez plans to dominate Barcelona next season and coach Zinedine Zidane has a list of players he wants in the summer to build a team that can once again end Barca’s hopes of winning the trophy next season.

Meanwhile, Barcelona President, Josep Maria Bartomeu has stressed that there will be no big players recruited by the Catalan giants this summer as the club has been short in funds which could be fatal next season.

Santiago Bernabeu and Barca both have a limited transfer budget, but Madrid has more quality young players in their squad than Barca and Zidane is willing to sell some of his players this summer in order to recruit the players he wants. It was only dreamed by Blaugrana manager, Quique Setien as his team is currently mostly filled by 30-year-old players with no younger players to replace them.

Zidane plans to sell James Rodriguez, Gareth Bale, Marcelo, Brahim Diaz, Mariano and Lucas Vasquez. The 48-year-old manager believes that the departure of these players will not hamper the squad next season as he has the perfect players to replace them. The funds generated from the sale of these players are assumed to be around 200 million euros (3.25 trillion rupiah) which will be used to bring in Sadio Mane, Paul Pogba or Milan Skriniar.

Meanwhile, Quique Setien begged Barcelona officials not to make another foolish transfer after the club swapped Arthur Melo, 24, for 30-year-old Miralem Pjanic. With the addition of the Bosnia Herzegovina midfielder, Barca now have 10 players in their thirties. The statistics are very worrying for Quique Setien and his coaching staff.
