Real Madrid Want to Recruit Espanyol Tough Defender on January

Mario Hermoso

DBasia.news – Marca reported Real Madrid want to recruit Espanyol tough defender, Mario Hermoso, in January or during the winter transfer market opens.

Mario Hermoso is one of the defenders stealing the attention in LaLiga. Moreover, the 23-year-old player was called-up by Luis Enrique to defend Spain national team.

Hermoso’s performance impressed Real Madrid. Marca reported Los Blancos will activate his buyback clause on January. It seems like Madrid only need to spend 7,5 million euro to recruit Hermoso.

Actually, Hermoso is not a new name for Madrid. He studied at Madrid’s academy. After that, Hermoso was on-loan to Real Valladolid in 2015-2016. At the beginning of last season, Madrid released Hermoso to Espanyol with a buyback clause.

Hermoso is not a short-term solution for Madrid. Later, he is expected to duet with Jesus Vallejo in the future.

Madrid’s intention to get Hermoso is getting smoother after Espanyol owner, Chen Yansheng, doesn’t mind to release him in the need of money to balance the team’s financial situation.

So far, Hermoso is Espanyol main squad in the defense area. He has the role behind the strong defense of the Catalonian club. So far, Espanyol just conceded eight goals.

Meanwhile, Hermoso chooses not to think about Madrid. “Our football is very attractive and we have an exceptional group, it doesn’t even cross my mind right now,” he said to Marca.

“One of my characteristics has always been to be very ambitious, I do not like to put on or put a ceiling on what I can achieve. I have always believed in myself and in my qualities,” the player explained.
