Receiving Support from the Legend, James Rodriguez Is Expected to Stay with Real Madrid
By db-admin
DBasia.news – Real Madrid legend, Roberto Carlos has hopes for James Rodriguez not to rashly take the decision to leave Los Blancos. The former Brazilian national team player considered that James was deeply loved by supporters of the club and valued by his manager, Zinedine Zidane.
Rumors James’ transfer departure have been discussed since he returned from his two-season loan period at Bayern Munich in 2019. The 28-year-old player is not a regular player at Real Madrid and is rumored to be leaving.
James is expected to move and play more at other clubs in order to maintain his performance in the Colombian national team. Understandably, James is the captain of the national team and also a mainstay player there. So the situation in Madrid has not been good for him.
Roberto Carlos thinks otherwise. He hopes James can be more patient and stays in Madrid as he is loved by fans and also Zinedine Zidane. Moreover, James rarely appears disappointing.
“Zidane has great respect for James,” Roberto Carlos told BLU Radio. “He often rotates and every time James plays he always performs well.”
“The most important thing now is that he continues to practice as well as he does and maintains his confidence. The supporters love him. To be honest, I care about him and, every time I see him, I hug him.”
“He has done many things for this club and even more for his country,” concluded Roberto Carlos, who played at Real Madrid from 1996 to 2007.
