PSG
DBasia.news – Since the leaks of football documents by Der Spiegel, Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) might be eliminated from the Champions League due to violating the Financial Fair Play (FFP) regulation.
In UEFA’s newest finding, PSG violated another FFP regulation. Consequently, the French club might be banned from the Champions League.
Actually, PSG got the sanction since 2014. However, the case is reopened by UEFA after finding a strange situation regarding the club transfer.
UEFA focuses to the 2013-2014 and 2014-2015 season for this investigation. Apparently, at that time, PSG were in contract with some Qatar companies.
L’Equipe reported UEFA will investigate it. They assumed PSG manipulated FFP regulation by collaborating with the company owned by the club’s president.
PSG will file their appeal by Court of Arbitration for Sport. They think the case has closed since 2015.
Les Parisiens think UEFA is investigating their financial situation due to the urge from another club. The situation places PSG under pressure.
Actually, the partnership of PSG was a bit strange. In a short time, Les Parisien could purchase players like Neymar and Kylian Mbappe with fantastic transfer fees.
The mistrust came from some clubs hence UEFA decided to recheck PSG’s finance. If it’s proved, Les Parisien might be eliminated from the Champions League.
