Richarlison Once Imitated Neymar’s Hairstyle

As a proof of his admiration of Neymar, Richarlison admitted that he once imitated the megastar’s hairstyle.

Richarlison is now starting his path to be a star player. After scoring three goals in Premier League, the player was called to support Brasil national team in the friendly match. Consequently, Richarlison scored two goals in his debut.

The call-up from the national team was meaningful from Richarlison. Thus, the 21-year-old player could play with his idol, Neymar.

Richarlison’s fandom to Neymar isn’t just a myth. Moreover, the player cut his hair to imitate the Paris Saint-Germain player.

“Neymar has been an idol of mine since childhood. I’ve always tried to mirror myself in the way he plays and I’ve also tried imitating some of his haircuts,” Richarlison said quoted by Soccerway.

“When I was 12 or 13 I had the yellow mohican. I didn’t quite pull it off though because I didn’t have the right hair products,” the player continued.

“It would stay up for five minutes and then just flop down, so it didn’t really work. I told him about the haircut during lunchtime one day on international duty. The whole room fell about laughing – they thought it was hilarious,” Richarlison insisted.

Everton recruited Richarlison from Watford with ‎£35,28M in the 2018 summer transfer market. The player agreed to sign the contract until five upcoming seasons.
