DBasia.news – Slowly but surely, AC Milan continues to fix the board of directors and coaching staff. Post appoint Paolo Maldini, Zvonimir Boban, and Marco Giampaolo, the Rossoneri now appoint Ricky Massara as Director of Sports.
Massara is a former AS Roma Sports Director. Maldini, the Technical Director, welcomed Massara’s arrival and assessed his presence would be an added value for Milan.
“We are very happy to welcome Frederic to our work team. Thanks for the preparation, seriousness, and professionalism, he will provide an addition to Milan, as well as the strategy in our development path,” Maldini told Football-Italy.
Massara used to be a player in the lower leagues with Pavia, Pescara, and Palermo in the mid-1990s. He obtained a Sports Director license in 2011 and held a position in Rome in the 2016/17 season.
His presence complements the ranks of Milan’s directors who have appointed Maldini and Boban, as well as Giampaolo as the new coach replacing Gennaro Gattuso. Now Milan can focus on finding new players.
