Roman Abramovic Will Not Sell Chelsea

DBasia.news –  Chelsea owner, Roman Abramovich, revealed that he had no intention of selling the English club. Abramovich’s comments came after a number of new speculations this week linking Britain’s richest man, Sir Jim Ratcliffe, who intends to take over the Blues.

Speculation was also reinforced when a number of British media reports that the Russian tycoon could not extend his investor visa in the country of Queen Elizabeth. Abramovic’s visa was rejected by the British government as of recent political tensions between the two countries.

Meanwhile, Ratcliffe refused to rule out the possibility of taking over the English Premier League team earlier this week and said, “You never said no” when asked about his interest in buying Chelsea.

According to the Sky Sports report, Abramovich has not had a conversation with Ratcliffe or other potential buyers and has no desire to do so.

The director of Marina Granovskaia’s club is currently still watching the day-to-day running of Chelsea’s club as Abramovich’s representative.

The Russian businessmen have not attended a match at Stamford Bridge so far since the visa proposal was rejected last year.
