Rome’s Women Team Wins in Trial Match

DBasia.news – The Rome Women team has continued their preseason preparations with a victory in a training match over Roma Calcio Femminile on Saturday afternoon.
The match, held at the Giulio Onesti sports center, ended with a score of 1-0 for Betty Bavagnoli’s players – thanks to Lindsey Thomas’s goal early in the second half.
With the start of the season still three weeks away, the match was played for two rounds with 35 minutes each.
Manuela Giugliano, Andressa Alves, and Elisa Bartoli are among a number of players who could not play for this match, after they joined their respective national teams.
Giallorosse will open the season on September 14 against AC Milan.
Rome’s Women starter team will face Roma CF: Ceasar; Erzen, Corrado, Di Criscio, Cunsolo; Greggi, Bernauer, Hegerberg; Corelli, Thestrup, Thomas.
