Sean Longstaff Becomes Man United’s Target After Bringing in Wan-Bissaka

DBasia.news –  Manchester United have brought in two players in the transfer market this summer. The two players are Daniel James and Aaron Wan-Bissaka.

The two players are 21 years old and can be part of United’s management policy changes to bring in young players they can use in the long run. After recruiting Wan-Bissaka, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s team still wanted to bring in other young players.

BBC reports that the Red Devils will return to try to recruit Sean Longstaff from Newcastle United. Manchester United does need to bring in players who play as midfielders after Ander Herrera left them due to not extending his contract that expired at the end of the 2018/19 season.

Solskjaer wants to rebuild the United squad and feels that the policy of bringing in young players can be an important factor in achieving that goal.

Longstaff showed a promising performance with Newcastle after getting a chance in December 2018. But the 21-year-old player suffered a knee injury which kept him out until the end of last season
