DBasia.news – European clubs have started competing for new players next summer. Real Madrid have brought Eder Militao from FC Porto, while Bayern Munchen have recruited French duo Lucas Hernandez and Benjamin Pavard.
As if not to be outdone by other rival clubs, the Premier League giants, Manchester United also began drafting a transfer strategy after they officially appointed Ole Gunnar Solskjaer as permanent manager. But before issuing funds to bring in a number of new players, the Red Devils reportedly will first make a revamp of the squad.
According to the Daily Mail report, Solskjaer is certain to release at least six players, including Matteo Darmian, Marcos Rojo, Eric Bailly and team captain, Antonio Valencia. The other two players are Juan Mata and Ander Herrera.
The first four names were indeed challenging to get into the Solskjaer starting XI, while Herrera and Mata had the potential to be released as the talk of their contract never showed a significant development. Even both can be obtained free of charge at the end of the season.
In addition to the six names above, there are still players who have the potential to leave Old Trafford, namely Alexis Sanchez. As is known that the former Arsenal player did not show optimal performance, the club was also said to be upset, on the other hand he was the player with the highest salary in the squad.
The sales of the six players above also made the club believe that they would get enough additional funds to recruit a number of new names including Toby Alderweireld, Aaron Wan Bissaka, Raphael Varane, and finally Atletico Madrid midfielder Saul Niguez.
