Son Heung-min Reveal His Ambitions for the 2019-20 Season

DBasia.news –  South Korean striker Son Heung-min has a simple mission for Tottenham Hotspur ahead of next season 2019-20. Son just wanted to make a higher achievement than last season.

Tottenham made a surprise in the 2018-2019 season. Mauricio Pochettino’s side qualified for the final after overcoming Ajax and Manchester City on their way.

Meanwhile, nicks in the Premier League are no less outstanding. Tottenham ended the season in the top four and qualified for the Champions League the following season.

Given that Tottenham did not buy a player, the achievement seemed quite extraordinary. Nobody predicts the Lilywhites can go that far.

Even so, Son Heung-min is not satisfied with the note. The South Korean striker said Tottenham wanted to surpass all the achievements this season.

“This season is truly extraordinary, there are several unforgettable moments, although there are also those that are disappointing. We have a difficult schedule throughout the past season,” said Son Heung-min.

“We were fortunate to have achieved some satisfying results. We ended the season in the top four and qualified for the Champions League final. Disappointing to lose in the final, but we are quite proud.”

“The players learned a lot from last season and are ambitious to pass the achievement next season. I am optimistic we can do it,” added Son Heung-min.

Son Heung-min himself is not maximal at Tottenham because they have to defend the South Korean national team. Son appeared at the 2018 World Cup, 2018 Asian Games, and 2019 Asian Cup.
